About me

Hello, my name is Gianluca Failla (he/him), and I am a relationship and psychosexual therapist based in London, with 9 years of experience supporting individuals through sexual health, addictions and Chemsex recovery.

I believe sexual wellbeing is a human right.

I bring a deep, compassionate understanding of how healing, resilience, and pleasure can coexist and grow together.

My mission is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can heal from past experiences, explore your desires, and move towards pleasure, confidence, meaningful connection, and build the intimate life you truly want.

As a gay man, I understand how personal history, cultural messages, and societal expectations can shape sexual self-expression. I bring that awareness into my work, creating a safe space where every part of you is welcome: your fears, your questions, and your desires.

For me, therapy is not only about resolving difficulties; it’s about helping you rediscover pleasure, confidence, and connection. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore, heal, and create the intimate life you truly want.

Passion

With a profound dedication to enhancing relationships, I specialize in psychosexual and couple therapy, guiding individuals and partners through intimacy and sexual health challenges. My approach empowers clients to foster deeper connections and address critical aspects of their relationships.

Growth

I have honed my expertise through years of training and personal exploration, focusing on effective communication and relational dynamics. This journey has equipped me to help others achieve their desired relationship satisfaction and intimacy.

Understanding the emotional and psychological factors that affect relationships is key. I emphasize trust, safety, and empathy in my practice, creating a space where clients can openly share their needs and experiences.

Connection

Clinical skills

I bring a grounded and adaptable clinical skill set
My training covers assessment, formulation, and treatment planning for a wide range of psychosexual and relational issues. I work confidently with individuals and couples, integrating clear ethical boundaries, collaborative goal-setting, and ongoing evaluation to ensure therapy is both safe and effective.

Therapeutic techniques

My approach draws from evidence-based and experiential methods, including psychodynamic exploration, cognitive-behavioural strategies, trauma-informed practice, and somatic awareness. I use a flexible blend of psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and relational techniques, tailoring each session to your needs and pace.

Human behavior

With a background in sexual health promotion, somatic practice, and chemsex support, I have extensive experience working with diverse sexualities, relationship styles, and cultural perspectives. I bring insight into the ways identity, social context, trauma, and personal history shape sexual behaviour and relational patterns. This understanding helps clients feel seen, respected, and supported in making meaningful change.

Comprehensive training

My professional development combines academic study, clinical placements, supervision, and personal therapy, providing a deep and integrated foundation for my work.  The training received so far, equipped me with in-depth study of anatomy, sexual function, relational theory, ethics, diversity, and specialist interventions for issues like sexual dysfunction, compulsive sexual behaviour, and the impact of trauma. This training is strengthened by years of practical experience in NHS and community settings.
